Houjicha Tea

This certified organic tea has a nutty taste and a finish of molasses and burnt sugar. This unique tea is lightly roasted with little tannins, a group of bitter and astringent compounds found abundantly in nature. They're present in the wood, bark, leaves, and fruit of plants - perhaps most importantly, they're also found in wine.

Suggested Use: Steep in hot water for 6-8 minutes.
